Jenny Klion is a New York-based script reader, story analyst, and script consultant for numerous film production companies and literary agencies, including William Morris, Dimension Films, New Line Cinema, The Black List, Walden Media, Scholastic, Jim Henson Pictures, and Homegrown Pictures. She'll be holding office hours on March 20 in the Paragraph Café. Members can sign up for a half-hour slot to discuss your work, writing habits, or submissions process! (Update: all time slots are full!)
Writers who sign up in advance can send up to 10 pages of double-spaced text ahead of time, including outlines, overviews, plot synopses, chapter summaries, query letters, excerpts from longer work, or complete essays and short stories. Jenny works with all those materials on a regular basis so she's happy to give a range of feedback.
If you don't want to send work in advance, you can sign up and use the half hour to ask questions 1:1. OR, if you want to submit materials day-of, Jenny will cold-read them if she has time. Either way, please book a time slot so we can gauge interest! (Note: this opportunity is free and open to active members only. Non-Paragraphers and alumni may reach out to Jenny at jenny.klion@gmail.com for a quote on her services.)
