Jerry Sticker, Kavita Das and Jeanine Boulay

Jeanine Boulay is a writer and educator in Brooklyn, NY. Her poetry has appeared in literary journals including The Watermark, 96, Inc., and Soundings East. She was a contributor and visiting instructor to the non-profit community media group Amazwi Writers in South Africa. Her fiction and nonfiction has been partly developed through seminars at the Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers at the New York Public Library. She is currently at work on her first novel.

Kavita Das developed and led innovative programs in the social change sector for fifteen years. She now focuses on writing nonfiction and creative nonfiction and serving as a nonprofit consultant. Her writing often provides a cross-cultural perspective on issues of the day and has been published in Quartz, The Aerogram, The Rumpus, Colorlines, Thought Catalog, DashAmerican, The Sun, and will be featured in an upcoming anthology by Telling Our Stories. She is currently at work on a biography of Grammy-nominated Hindustani singer, Lakshmi Shankar. Connect with Kavita on Twitter@kavitamix.

Jerry Sticker is a writer and marathon runner. He frequently contributes articles and interviews for Runner’s World magazine and he produces a show about runners and athletes for NET TV, a non-profit television station in Brooklyn. He is currently at work on a novel called Dog Runners. He’s also working on a screenplay based on a 19th century French novel.
