Think it’s hard to write a book? Try writing the pitch to sell it. But there’s help! Pitch Perfect, a prequel to Paragraph’s wildly popular Pitch Wars, is a one hour interactive workshop where you can get pointers from the experts on how to boil your book down to jacket copy that sells. Our panel of NYC editors and agents will show you how to evaluate your project and identify its place in the market, and then how to write an effective pitch and query letter. This is a great way to learn how to get started on your first book pitch or query letter, or to revisit and revise a pitch or query letter you’ve been working on. This virtual event on Zoom will include examples, instruction, live feedback from the panel, a Q and A, and lots of anecdotes from their many years of experience.
