JENIFER MARGARET KELLY is a playwright who was born in Brooklyn but moved shortly thereafter, and has been moving ever since! Grew up in Miami and moved her from Georgia after living in Ireland for two years. A teacher in NYC, her last play, entitled “My Brooklyn” is currently a finalist for the Eugene O’Neill Playwriting Conference this summer at Yale. She is also a poet, short-story writer and an author of creative non-fiction and essays. She is still a relatively new New York resident, who is still taking pictures of the Flatiron Building every time she passes it, and is super grateful to have found Paragraph.
ROBIN EILEEN BERNSTEIN wears several hats as a writer. As a marketing communications specialist, she drafts award-winning speeches and custom content for major corporations and academia. Her ghostwritten work on behalf of clients has been published nationally. As journalist and essayist, her byline has appeared in Newsday, CBS HealthWatch, Salon (an Open Salon Editors' Pick), Narratively (where it reached "Most Popular Story" rank), Purple Clover, Salute, Rensselaer Magazine, TC Today, and other publications. A member of the essay reading group Living, Out Loud, she has read her work at a wide range of high-profile venues in New York City and beyond, and twice was a featured reader at Word Up: Long Island LitFest. Robin is based in Manhattan, where she is working on a book of personal essays.
Paragraph alum TAYLOR LARSEN, a graduate of Columbia University’s MFA program in fiction writing. Taylor has taught fiction writing at Columbia University and the Sackett Street Writers Workshop, as well as literature courses for Pace University. Taylor is an author at Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster for her novel, Stranger, Father, Beloved, which released in July of 2016. Her stories have appeared or are forthcoming in Windmill: The Hofstra Journal of Literature & Art. Her essays have appeared in Bustle, Literary Hub, and Women Writers, Women’s Books. Originally from Alexandria, Virginia, Taylor currently resides with her husband in Brooklyn, NY.
