On Friday, March 25 Paragraph members Julia Barclay-Morton, Michael Hyde, and Aurvi Sharma read from their recent work as part of the Paragraph Reading Series at the KGB Bar.

Julia Lee Barclay-Morton, Ph.D. is an award-winning writer and director of experimental theater, whose work has been produced and published internationally. For the past five years she has been writing a book, The Amazing True Imaginary Autobiography of Dick & Jani, which she completed at Vermont Studio Center & Wisdom House residencies this summer. She teaches at Fordham University and blogs at http://julialeebarclay.blogspot.com.

Michael Hyde is author of the story collection "What Are You Afraid Of?" which won the Katherine Anne Porter Prize in Short Fiction. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University’s MFA writing program, he teaches writing and literature at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

A Pushcart-nominated writer, Aurvi Sharma has been awarded the Gulf Coast Nonfiction Prize, the Prairie Schooner Essay Prize, the Wasafiri New Writing Prize and the AWP Emerging Writer Prize. Her writing has also appeared in Fourth Genre, Essay Daily and Everyday Genius.
