Roberta Lawrence has won awards including a New Voices Award from the Writer’s Voice, a Ludwig Vogelstein Fiction grant, and numerous artist residencies at Ragdale and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Her articles and reviews have appeared in BOMB, Musician, and ASCAP in Action. As a songwriter, singer and record producer, she has worked with Richie Havens, Bob James, Herbie Hancock and Donald Harrison. Her CD with trumpeter Mike Lawrence, “Nightwind,” topped the Billboard charts and will be reissued in Spring 2017 along with her own CD. Her current novel, "Quietly Crazy For You,"was inspired by the years she spent in the reverse universe of jazz and studio musicians.
Dell Lemmon’s first book of poetry, Single Woman, was published by Box Turtle Press and is available online and at Barnes and Nobles. Her poems have appeared in WSQ, Mudfish, PMS (poemmemoirstory), and Washington Square Review and soon will appear in The Brooklyn Poets Anthology published by Brooklyn Arts Press.
Laura Stampler is a writer living in New York City. Her debut young adult novel LITTLE BLACK DRESSES, LITTLE WHITE LIES was published in July 2016 by Simon & Schuster / Simon Pulse. She has been on staff at Time Magazine, Business Insider, and Huffington Post, and her writing has also appeared in Vulture, Vogue.com, Refinery29, Salon, The New Republic, and more.
