On Friday, September 25, we kicked off the 2015-2016 Paragraph Reading Series with Paragraph Members Julia Barclay-Morton, Kiri Milburn, & Sarah Wetzel. As always, the series is free and open to the public.
Julia Lee Barclay-Morton, Ph.D. is an award-winning writer and director of experimental theater, whose work has been produced and published internationally. For the past five years she has been writing a book, The Amazing True Imaginary Autobiography of Dick & Jani, which she completed at Vermont Studio Center & Wisdom House residencies this summer. She teaches at Fordham University and blogs at http://julialeebarclay.blogspot.com.
Of all Kiri Milburn's titles, the one that she has held the longest is: traveler. She has also worked as an attorney, English tutor and au pair. Rather than beating around the bush, she now writes full time. She is working on a novel and several short stories. Please bear with her accent.
Sarah Wetzel is the author of River Electric with Light, published in 2015, which won the AROHO Poetry Publication Prize, and Bathsheba Transatlantic, which won the Philip Levine Poetry Prize. Sarah teaches creative writing at The American University of Rome while splitting time between Manhattan, Tel Aviv, and Rome.
