Agent Roundtable with Kate McKean of Howard Morhaim Literary

Kate McKean joined Howard Morhaim in 2006. She earned her master’s degree in fiction writing at the University of Southern Mississippi and began her publishing career at the University Press of Florida. She is proud to work with authors in a wide variety of genres including Daniel Mallory Ortberg’s SOMETHING THAT MAY SHOCK AND DISCREDIT YOU, Madeleine Roux’s YA horror series ASYLUM, Ethan Sherwood Strauss' THE VICTORY MACHINE, and Alix E. Harrow's THE TEN THOUSAND DOORS OF JANUARY. In addition to working with clients, she is an adjunct professor at New York University. She most actively looking for contemporary YA and Middle Grade fiction and non-fiction for kids of all ages; for adults she is looking for memoir, narrative non-fiction, mid-century historical fiction, literary fiction, science fiction, fantasy, and graphic novels for all ages.
